Donna Beebe, LISW-CP

Meet Donna:

I recognize that individuals who are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues are capable of restoring themselves to a higher level of functioning through counseling. Individuals who seek counseling are taking a courageous step toward emotional healing. I believe that taking a positive and creative approach in creating a specific counseling treatment plan for each individual yields healthier results.

I value the dignity and worth of each individual and seek to help them move forward on their life journey through counseling. I specialize in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Interpersonal Counseling, Grief Counseling, Mindfulness, Coaching, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I work with families and individuals who are struggling depression, anxiety, health issues and those who are adjusting to milestones and changes in their lives.

I has professional experience in hospital settings, student health centers, social services, children’s home, health care centers and an adoption agency. I have worked with children and their families in early child intervention services through the health department and mental health centers. I have been a hospice social worker working with individuals and their families over 20 years.

By travelling throughout the United States and other countries I have been exposed to a variety of cultures and enriching experiences that help provide me with an array of knowledge of different family systems and belief systems; resulting in a broad understanding of working with individuals and families of different cultures and backgrounds. Empowering individuals and families to have the voice to seek the help they need and achieve positive outcomes is important and highly valued in her practice.
