Tisha has a passion for helping others. She thrives to help make a difference in the lives of others. Tisha understands that life is filled with difficult challenges. She strives to provide support to others as they navigate through these moments of uncertainty. Tisha practices from a solution-based perspective, which incorporates positive psychology principles to help clients navigate problems by focusing on the solution rather than the problem itself. She believes creating goals help clients produce healthy behavioral changes. She works to provide a safe environment for each person to express his or her concerns while engaging in the therapeutic process.
Tisha has experience working with children on the spectrum, as well as children with behavioral issues. She also has experience working in a psychiatric hospital setting in various departments. Tisha works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, challenges in school, relationship problems, communication, and life transitions.
Tisha works with children, adolescents, and young adults. Tisha takes a mindfulness approach which allows one to be aware of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally in the moment without regard to life circumstances. Additionally, Tisha utilizes therapeutic approaches from cognitive-behavioral therapy, empowerment, and strengths-based.
Tisha enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and exercising in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and loved ones.
